尊敬的各位专家学者、各位同仁们：

        中国科学院动物研究所雷晓华博士（中国空间科学学会空间生命专委会委员）应邀担任生物医学领域SCI期刊《BioMed Research International》的客座主编（Lead Guest Editor），与日本群马大学Akihisa Takahashi教授、韩国延世大学Junsoo Park教授、大连海事大学赵磊副教授（中国空间科学学会空间生命专委会委员）、以及中国航天员科研训练中心的戴钟铨研究员共同负责以“Extreme Environmental Stresses Induced Biological Effects: From Phenotype to Molecular Mechanisms”为主题的一期专刊（Special Issue）的出版工作。

        本期Special Issue主要讨论极端环境胁迫下的生物学效应及其分子机制，包括细胞生物学、转录组学、表观遗传学、蛋白质组学、代谢组学和微生物组学等研究，重点收录以下方向的相关研究和话题，但不局限于这些话题。

        (1) Adverse effects and adaption responses of extreme environmental stresses, including radiation, microgravity, hypergravity, magnetic field, Hypoxia in living organisms

        (2) Spaceflight and/or ground-based simulated experiments in living organisms

        (3) Metabolic profile in response to extreme environmental stress

        (4) Genomic or DNA methylation in responses to extreme environmental stresses

        (5) Gene expression and proteomic profiles in response to extreme environmental stresses

        (6) Microbiomics profile in response to extreme environmental stresses

        (7) Methodological and theoretical discussions of on the relations between extreme environmental stresses and biomedical countermeasure researches

        (8) Risk assessment of extreme environmental stresses

        (9) New methods or technologies with an application to human biomedical research

        此外，欢迎利用动物或植物作为实验材料进行极端环境下生物学研究的文章进行投稿，但其研究工作在生物学医学领域具有潜在的应用。也欢迎在生物医学研究中开展的新的数据分析方法或技术相关文章投稿。本期专刊拟收录的文章类型有：研究综述；评述；研究论文等。

       《BioMed Research International》为国际开源的综合性生物医学期刊（SCIE），主要报道生物医学领域的重要基础理论和应用研究的原始创新性科研成果，2019年最新影响因子为2.20，5年平均影响因子为2.89。
